Drivers of vehicles carrying tank containers within the scope of The Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road Regulations. Drivers of vehicles carrying explosives. Drivers of vehicles carrying radioactive material irrespective of the maximum weight of the vehicle.Frequency of Course:Monthly plus additionally on demandCourse Outline:<p>Candidates will train to the standard required to pass the SQA examinations for the ADR Certificate on an understanding of the following: </p><ul><li>The nature of the dangers to which particular dangerous goods being carried may give rise</li><li>The action to be taken in an emergency concerning them</li><li>Their duties under the Health &amp; Safety at Work etc Act 1974</li></ul>Final Assessment:SQA written examinations for all modules - multi-choice answer format.
