To train candidates to safely manoeuvre and drive vehicles on site.

Course Requirements:
Must have been previously trained and must be physically fit.

Training Methods:

Short theoretical session followed by practical exercises

Course Delivery Method:
Short theoretical session followed by practical exercises. Final validation exercise carried out.

Main Areas Covered by Course:

Introduction to the course. Daily inspections of vehicle. Coupling & uncoupling (Artic). Vehicle loading/unloading. Manoeuvring, operation and control. Banksman signalling and positioning. Safety before reversing. Awareness of blind spots. Final validation exercise

Validation exercise.
