Who is this Course Aimed at:
All employees who are required to use vehicles in connection with their employment

Course Outline and Key Objectives:
To provide drivers with the knowledge and strategies which can be used to avoid risks and behaviour leading to risk taking and conflict. To equip drivers with the information that will allow fuel efficient driving.

Course Requirements:
Candidates must hold a full driving licence for the category on which training is required

Training Methods:

Tutor led presentation, licence and eyesight checks, practical training encapsulating all road types and focusing on risk reducing strategies and fuel efficient driving techniques.

Course Delivery Method:
Classroom and vehicle based

Main Areas Covered by Course:

Course introduction, preliminary theory, pre-start vehicle checks, driving assessment, vehicle roadcraft instruction, driver validation exercise, underpinning knowledge exercise, assessment, summary report and feedback.

Final Assessment:
A Driver Risk Assessment and a written report will be produced.

Certificate of Competence issued.
