Who is this Course Aimed at:
Persons required, within the scope of their employment, to formally discharge the duties and functions of a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser. Persons wishing to pursue a career as a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser either as a consultant or within the scope of their employment.
Course Outline and Key Objectives:
Candidates will train to the standard required to pass the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) approved examinations to achieve the Dangerous Safety Adviser Vocational Training Certificate (VTC) in the Core paper (mandatory), Road mode paper and all classes. A DGSA may be employed only in the modes and classes for which a VTC has been awarded.
Course Requirements:
No formal educational requirements Current ADR qualification recommended Dangerous goods industry experience desirable Reasonable level of literacy and numeracy
