This AAT training course will develop the skills gained at the AAT Foundation stage by looking at the preparation of basic accounting statements and returns. The course is suitable for people with some previous experience of accounting and bookkeeping and depending on current qualifications and work experience, students may start their AAT studies at the Intermediate stage instead of the Foundation stage
The course is delivered through a programme of full day or evening training sessions at our Carlisle training centre and is designed to develop the students’ knowledge, understanding and practical skills to achieve the following NVQ units;
Maintaining financial records and preparing accounts
Recording and evaluating costs and revenues
Preparing reports and returns
Working with computers
Contribute to the maintenance of a healthy, safe and productive working environment
